Previous update for Alison from her family: Please continue to pray for Alison Hansen, she's recovering from a massive brain bleed which required brain surgery which happened on 11/15/2024. Alison faces a long road to recovery, including weeks in the hospital, months in rehabilitation, and ongoing therapies for speech, physical, and cognitive recovery.
Alison has dedicated over 30 years of her life to supporting special needs students through the Atascadero Unified School District. She was just a month away from her early retirement when tragedy struck.
Alison recently endured the heartbreaking loss of her husband of 40 years and her youngest son. Despite these challenges, she has remained a devoted mother, grandmother, and a support to her elderly mother. Alison also shares a strong Christian faith and is an active member of the Cambria Vineyard Church.
Family are asking for your help to ease this financial burden so Alison can focus entirely on her recovery without the weight of insurmountable debt. Every donation will go directly toward her medical bills, therapy, and continued care, ensuring Alison has the support she needs in this critical time.
Thank you for standing with Alison and helping her on this journey. Your generosity and prayers mean the world to her family.

Update: Please continue to pray for Mark Phifer-Houseman for healing prayer. Mark is doing better but needs continued healing for stable health up to and through our next trip to Ethiopia Jan 8 - 30. Today we found out that the retreat center we were going to use for our retreat in mid-January has been commandeered by the local government without regard to our reservation. Our partners are scrambling to find an alternative venue that is affordable but also retreat-like. This is not easy to find! Would you pray for Tsion and Ruth as they search. Pray that God would provide a spot that can help bring rest to weary leaders.

UPDATE: Please pray for Lily. There has been a setback. She needs another surgery. They have had paused dialysis again because it is still leaking. She needs surgery to replace where the dialysis connects again. Also, she has pyloric stenosis, which is what our sons also had as babies, where there is a blockage in the connection between the stomach and intestines causing her to vomit her milk. This appears to be hereditary. They will do the surgery for pyloric stenosis at the same time. Most important is the surgery to connect the dialysis so it won’t leak. She already looks a little puffy with dialysis being paused. Also, pray that she won’t get an infection which could kill her. But we know God has everything in control!
This is my prayer for Lily! “
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
Your continued prayers are much appreciated! Thanks!
- Tim and Cheryl Daniel
